Under the terms of the 6/20/2006 (Item #40) Board approved "Agreement between Owner and Construction Manager for Pre-Construction & Bidding Services", the Director of Construction Services and a member of the Professional Services Selection Committee (PSSC) have successfully negotiated a contract with W.G. Mills, Inc. for the Riverview High School project - On Site Improvements.  This contract was negotiated on 3/28/2007.  As indicated, the 6/20/2006 agreement included pre-construction and bidding services only.  This Contract for Construction includes only the on site improvements portion for the referenced project. The scope shall include on site improvements consisting of site clearing, storm water storage vaults, storm drainage, wastewater collection, water distribution, engineered fill, paving, foundation walls, retaining walls, sidewalks and other incidental work.  A separate contract will be negotiated at a later date for the balance of the construction of this project.  The Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) of this contract is $12,239,425.00. This contract, which is the standard document utilized for all of the District's construction contracts, is available for review at the Construction Services Department.  The School Board attorney has approved the use of this GMP proposal acceptance form and contract.  Funds for this contract are available in the project budget.
